Anxiety is a huge issue in today’s fast-paced world. The bad news is, the world is speeding up.
The good news is: there are solutions that work to relieve anxiety (and its related issues).
I’ve had bouts with anxiety and depression, so I’m sharing from experience in the hopes that this info will support you in elevating above anxiety and living the happy & joyful life that is your divine birthright.
Here are 4 solutions to begin working with today.

1. BREATHE DEEPLY. One of the side effects of anxiety is shallow breathing. When we feel nervous, or agitated, or anxious, breathing becomes shallow and rapid.
One of the fastest ways to slow your mind and restore inner peace and balance is to take 10-12 DEEP BREATHS. Simply sit still, close your eyes and begin BREATHING DEEPLY. Very slowly. Slow inhales. Slow exhales, deeper and deeper each time.
Imagine filling your lungs with vibrant white light as you’re breathing deeply.
There, don’t you feel better already?

2. SLOW DOWN. Anxiety comes from fear of the future mixed with moving too fast mixed with toxic emotions mixed with whatever else is in your brand of anxiety.
Here’s a way to stop anxiety in its tracks:
SLOW DOWN.
STOP. BREATHE. Then move slower.
I know it sounds deceptively simple. But don’t be fooled. It works. I used to have an anxiety level of 1,000. Now, I have very little, if any.
And a big key to the transformation was learning to simply slow down.

3. PRAY. Since this is an inspirational blog, I’m always going to offer you spiritual tools that work to re-shape your mind, your thinking and your feelings, which create your outcomes.
Prayer is the number one way I know of to dispel anxiety. And when I speak of prayer, it is the conscious connecting, on a deeply moving level, to that Infinite Power which is within you and yet is greater than you.
The form of prayer is not as important as its personal meaning for you. Perhaps a walk in the woods is a prayer for you. Or maybe rosary beads are your way of connecting with the divine. Or maybe your form of prayer is speaking fervently aloud at the altar.
Whatever prayer means for you, use it… frequently and passionately.

4. MEDITATE. Start a meditation practice daily of 15-20 minutes (if you don’t already meditate, which I’m assuming you may not. Deep meditators don’t usually have anxiety issues.) The goal of your meditative respites is one thought:
ALL IS WELL.
Anxiety can only live in a mental state of endangerment. You think or feel that you, or your security, is somehow in danger, so you become anxious. You worry, and fret over what could happen if this thing or the other went wrong.
Anxiety breeds when thoughts of danger are prevalent.
The alternative is to be with the knowing that ALL IS WELL. All has always been well, and all will always be well. All is well right now.
Be with the knowing that ALL IS WELL and anxiety will begin to disintegrate in the Light of Truth.

Try these new habits daily… morning, noon and evening for the next 40 days. You’ll begin to notice a transformation.
