I’ve been thinking of this idea of High Success for awhile, especially as I’m undertaking an expansion in my business, so it’s really been on my mind these days. It came to me to write a nine-part series about it, so that we could explore High Success in bite-sized chunks, and have opportunity to apply it.

There are 3 major mind-shifts to talk about first with regard to High Success:

1. Have you clearly defined what SUCCESS means to you?

How will you know when you’ve achieved it? What gets triggered in your mind when you hear the word SUCCESS?

Clearly define for yourself what success means to you. Write it out. Make it descriptive. Get wild. Let your imagination run free. This is not the time or place to think little.

A note here: if you need to, detach the dollar figure from your idea of success. You haven’t necessarily become successful just because you’ve made a certain amount of money. (I carried this wayward thought for a long time: “I know when I’m successful because I will have $XXX in the bank…” It’s a lie.) What about the degree of joy you experienced while making the money? How much joy, fun and fulfillment you experience while you’re in the process of going for what you desire is a good indicator of High Success.

2. Do you have a clear vision of yourself as a High Success?

What do you look like as a success? What do you wear? How do you conduct yourself? Where do you hang out? How do you speak and interact with others? What’s the mental picture you hold of yourself?

Until you have a clear and compelling mental picture of who you are–in your most highly evolved successful state–you’ll be hard pressed to create that reality.

This point speaks to your self-concept, probably one of the most important drivers of High Success. People who hold a self-concept that’s less than what they’re going for will never achieve High Success. People who hold a self-concept that’s of High Success always achieve it.

What’s your self-concept?

Do you picture yourself as a Queen? A King? A rich tycoon? A billionaire philanthropist? A wildly successful internationally well-regarded artist? An inspired leader of a Fortune 100 Company?

Remember, a self-concept can be accurate or inaccurate. Either way, it doesn’t matter; what you believe matters. Reality doesn’t create reality, your beliefs do. Remember, your sub-conscious mind doesn’t know the difference between truth and fiction. It’s dumb that way. Which is a benefit for you. You can continually feed it the picture of yourself as a High Success that you’ve imagined, and it will assume that the picture is true. It will then proceed to do everything in its massive power to create that reality.

3. Pray for clarity and correction.

Clarity enables you to get your vision crystal clear. Know what you are focusing on, beyond any doubt. See the picture as if it were in the 3-dimensional world. Clarity of purpose and vision gives you the burning enthusiasm you need to get big things done in the world.

Correction is always good to ask for. Whomever you pray to, whether it’s Jehovah, Jesus, God/Goddess, Allah, Jah, Buddha or otherwise, ask for divine correction. The ego mind is insane. And it will cause us to go for insane things. Without divine correction, you could be off in the bushes going for something that will in no way enrich your life. I call these ‘ego junkets’. They are totally useless pursuits that don’t get you one iota closer to what really matters to you.

To sum up, write down what success means for you and how you’ll know when you’ve achieved it. Then use your imagination to conjure up a wildly successful version of you, which will radically improve your self-concept (remember that the sub-conscious mind is dumb, it can only chew on what you feed it). Then pray for clarity and correction.

In the next article in this series, we’ll explore another aspect of creating High Success.

Until then, let yourself be wildly successful!
